After a long long hiatus, have decided to come home to my bloggie! I cant believe I was having evil designs of deleting it and putting the old dragon to sleep permanently. I am still chuckling at the angst ridden posts back when I was in uni. So bleh...pretentious!
I am dusting the cobwebs, picking up the pieces..gosh its been some time. Only time will tell if I will tend lovingly to this old blog!
Was throwing some ideas in my head on starting a food blog, fotoblog, weight loss blog, politicoblog,..but lets face it...i'm no Raja Petra. The most profound I will prolly go is make some lame joke about samy velu's latest hair dramas to revive his sagging career. Yep, so no chance of me giving the corridors of power any run for any money.
Yea, as I was saying I guess i sobered up and became officially boring these past couple of years. A paid subscription to CPA Australia has that unsettling effect. Apart from that, I am just the same. Life is dandy. Till later tweets.

And that too, after having a lay-in of about 2 hrs in the morning, AFTER the 6 hrs of "regular sleep" I had...causing me to be abt an hour late for work. Not good. Not good...especially when it is a promotion year...

Back to New Years and all the accompanying fanfare, we bunch of friends piled into a car and drove down to PD...after cleaning out the liquor shelves at Carrefour and piling two trolleys high with various mind numbing inducements.
It was to be an eventful new year, and if it was the litmus test for the year to come, then it promises to be a seriously chaotic affair for the next 360-odd days!

..on this client that I'm currently working on.. even though I'm not the most experienced team member, but I'm usually confident with the quality of work that I churn out day in and out. So of course I get peeved when somebody with little than a drop experience more than me comes up to me tries to doubt my work and boss me around. It also does tick me off that they ignore my advice 'cos after all I'm more junior than them. Constructive criticism is always welcomed (even though it's a bitter pill to swallow), but writing me off and underestimating my capabilities? That's just crude. If I wasn't bound to the fact that we've gotta act professionally at work, I'd give these people a right hook to the jaw. But since I can't do that, I'd just have to make do and ..
Thats a typical day @ work when ur at the lowest level of the food chain in a mammoth organization. With all that flailing egos, its no wonder that some of us resort to whine on our blogs abt work. i try to keep it to a bare minimum, coz i find myself rationalizing on who the hell doesnt face problems at work....but sometimes, it does get a bit overwhelming!
In the 12 months I've been a member of the collared society, its been a struggle on most days. Gosh...ask any one of us, and we'll definitely tell u that the best thing abt work happens on the 28th of each month when we get a paltry sum deposited into our even sorrier accounts. Cheh!..enough of me being sordidly bitchy, I'm gonna clamber to bed.

Anyway, it was a welcome sojourn into the relaxing mode, as monday heralds the start of the peak period for me (boohoohooo!!!!)...
On an even more depressing note, went to watch the Machinist yesterday night and found it rather overrated...I found myself gasping most of the time at Bale's 63lb weight loss for the role, apparently he put himself on a tuna can and an apple a day diet (or a daily dose of whisky sour...depending on which publications u choose to read!), and that by itself overshadowed the acting and feel of the show.
I dunno, issit just me or am I just confused at how a hit-and-run perpetrator behaves?...
Geez...am not an expert in these things, but something doesnt quite click in this flick, though the protagonist is apparently tipped for an Oscar..
