Just a short post today...abt of all things, Etiquette!!
If there is one thing I am most passionate, its gotta be beautiful manners...no matter if ur the Queen of England or plain Joe Bloggs, manners maketh the man.
And I dont mean just being well mannered to impress someone, ...it should be second nature to treat another human being with dignity and respect. Even if u loathe the person..... Now, thats class!
Call me old fashioned, but I'm never impressed by the baubles or if u can carry off the shortest of skirts that would put Twiggy to shame. I absolutely abhor false sincerity, so dont try to fake it, as I (as many others) can see right through u! Heck, some may say u look better than britney, but when u behave like an uncouth street person, it sorta spoils the effect. Neither am I gonna bat an eyelid if ur jetting about in the latest wheels. And I believe a lotta folks feel the same way.
I'm all for etiquette school & having Post's Etiquette in Society, in Business, in Politics and at Home as recommended reading! Go check out http://www.bartleby.com/95/ to read up chapters in her book....enlightening stuff. Etiquette is timeless, and wot worked in the Roaring 20s is just as relevant in today's society.
And u moan that u cant get a decent, proper bf/husband/gf/.....well go learn some charm!! If u behave vulgar-ly (& that includes dressing in ur whore threads), well u have no one to blame but urself when u attract scavangers & vultures,....... so maybe a little investment in beautiful manners will be worth it :))
